Membership Privilege
Membership of the IPA is earned through:
- education;
- professional experience; and
- commitment to our Constitution and Codes of Conduct.
We have several Categories of Membership:
- Full Members
- Associate Members
- Lenders Group Members
- Academic Members
- Student Members
The requirement for referees is one more safeguard in the process of ensuring that members of the public can have confidence when engaging the services of our Associate and Full members.
Unfortunately membership of the IPA is not compulsory. We cannot force all insolvency professionals to undertake our qualification program, maintain currency through professional education, or adhere to our standards.
Regardless, we make our standards and courses available to members and non-members alike, with the goal of making the Australian insolvency regime the strongest in the world.
